Dr. Jorge Hernandez came to ACS in 2007. He moved to Southeast Texas from Fort Smith, Arkansas where he practiced at the Sparks Regional Medical Center for 6 years. While at Sparks he served as Chief of Cardiology Section as well as the Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
Jorge and his wife, Karen Dailey, are the proud parents of a baby girl born August 2007. Karen is a physician as well, but has chosen to take time off to enjoy their daughter. They made the decision to move to this area to be closer to family. Dr. Hernandez’s hobbies include reading philosophy and modern Latin-American literature, traveling, playing soccer, snorkeling and scuba diving.
